Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and filing of tax returns for individuals and businesses.
- Conduct tax research to stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations.
- Provide support in tax audits and liaise with tax authorities as necessary.
- Assist in tax planning and advisory services to clients.
- Maintain accurate and organised tax records and documentation.
- Collaborate with senior staff on various tax-related projects and initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications (e.g.,ACCA, CA, CPA, or equivalent) are preferred.
Experience:
- 1-3 years of experience in accounting or tax compliance, tax advisory, or a related role within an accounting firm or corporate tax department.
- Familiarity with Singapore tax laws and regulations is essential.
Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of corporate and personal tax regulations in Singapore.
- Ability to prepare and review tax returns and related documentation accurately.
Soft Skills:
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
