About the Role:
Supervise and coordinate the overall execution of projects assigned to ensure smooth delivery and handover to customers. This includes ensuring customers' terms of order, meet delivery dates and installation completed with quality and safety standards as required by customers.
Main Responsibilities:
- Manage and ensure project meets internal and client expectations with respect toquality, budget, delivery timelines, and strategy required by Consultant/Owner withcompliance to Workplace Safety Health (WSH) and prevent any Liquidated Damage (LD) imposed by Consultant/Owner
- Co-ordinate with Sales, Design (Mechanical, Structure and Electrical), Technical (Project, Installation and Production) and Material Department to ensure theeffectiveness of management and execution of projects
- Maintain proper execution documentations and minutes of meeting to avoid claimsand counter claims for delays or proof for extension of time with conduct periodiccheck on project filling and database to ensure it is properly file and relevantdocument are posted for easy reference
- Develop and maintain good working relationship with the various parties at site thatfoster good client ties in the execution progress in order scope of works is notaffected
- Ensure own installation team and Sub-Contractors perform and comply withpredefined quality scope of work and EHS standard
- Communicate with Main Contractor/Consultant/Owner regarding project scheduleand site facilities while manage customer changes throughout project and ensuredeviations are commercially addressed ensuring configured documents aremaintained at all times
- Monitor project cash flow and progressive payment claims are timely submitted. (Work In Progress (WIP)), versus Amount Bill in Down payment (DP) and Progress (PG),management of project budget, cash flow projection, actual cash flow and prepareproject cost variance when necessary for reporting to Management
- Review and approve WSH documents including Risk Assessment, Method ofStatement, Safe Work Procedure, Fall Prevention Plan, Lifting Plan, SafetyManagement System, Permit to Work and ensure the work is carry out safely
Job requirement:
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or relevant
- 2 years of relevant experience in Industrial Products project management including 1year of Supervisory experience
- Quality Management Systems (QMS) fundamental & experience
