Our client is in is the automation industry, transforming the cleaning industry with advanced robotic solutions that tackle manpower challenges. Their innovative robots are already making a difference in 30 countries! As they continue to grow, they are seeking a Product Manager to join their team.
Key Responsibilities:
Product Development and Management:
- Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from ideation and development to launch and post-launch evaluation for hardware products.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to define product specifications, ensuring alignment with market needs and technological capabilities.
Project Management:
- Utilize project management methodologies to develop timelines, manage resources, and create Gantt charts to visualize project progress.
- Identify potential conflicts and roadblocks, implementing solutions to ensure projects remain on track and deadlines are met.
Customer Interface:
- Engage with customers to gather feedback, understand their needs, and provide product training and support.
- Conduct customer interviews, surveys, and usability tests to inform product enhancements and new feature development.
Market Analysis and Strategy:
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and threats in the hardware technology sector.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop effective product positioning and go-to-market strategies.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, sales, and operations, to ensure successful product delivery and alignment with business objectives.
- Facilitate communication between teams to ensure that all stakeholders are informed and engaged throughout the product development process.
Performance Monitoring:
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess product performance and market success.
- Analyze product performance data and customer feedback to inform decision-making and prioritize future enhancements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field; a Masters degree or relevant product management certification is a plus.
- A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in product management, specifically with hardware technological products.
- Proven project management skills, including experience using Gantt charts and other project management tools.
- Background in sales and engineering is advantageous, providing a holistic understanding of product development and market requirements.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-centric approach.
