To be successful in this role, you will possess the following experience, knowledge and skills:
Requirements
- Degree in Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Finance, Economics, or equivalent
- Min 3 year years of professional experience in the insurance sector, or in the consulting, investment, or banking sector with knowledge of the insurance sector.
- Fluent command of English in speaking and writing
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
- Efficient communicator to his superiors, peers and other colleagues
- Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including use of spreadsheets for budgeting, forecasting, business planning, etc.) as well Microsoft Powerpoint.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proven track-record in summarizing complex questions into easy-to-understand topics.
Job Description
- Provide high accuracy in self-control work and independent task management skills.
- Able to analyze complex questions and summarize the essentials.
- Able to work under tight deadlines and pressure.
- Able to work as a discreet colleague able to keep highly confidential topics within the circle who needs to know.
- Profound knowledge and experience in drafting power point presentations and developing excel worksheets.
Planning & Controlling
- Support the CE and the CFO to execute the Company’s strategy by tracking, coordinating and monitoring the ongoing strategic projects across the organization.
- Lead the Planning and Forecast process in cooperation with the Head of Finance and Chief Actuary.
- Monitor and control the execution of the business case from a financial and qualitative point of view.
- Support daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly analysis to internal stakeholders and Group Controlling.
Strategic Projects
- Support the CE in developing the overall strategy for the company including but not limited to the definition of the product and sales strategy, claims strategy, and IT strategy.
- Develop strategic initiatives and options which supports the overall strategy in consultation with respective Heads of Departments, including formulation of required business plans and proposals as well as support in relevant execution, monitoring and reporting.
- Support the CE in coordinating the strategic alignment of the Executive Committee in areas of planning, controlling, and corporate governance.
Ad-hoc assignments
- Undertake ad-hoc assignments as and when required by Chief Executive and / or Chief Financial Officer
