Responsibilities:
- Assisting in establishing the processes and workflow for launching of new funds (or any other asset management products) and monitoring the existing products.
- Analyse current market trends and identify opportunities for new products development as well as investment.
- Address any operational, legal, compliance or risks issues and ensure all compliance to rules and regulations.
- Negotiating and reviewing of legal documents and agreements relating to the asset management business.
- Participate in the development and monitoring clients’ portfolio.
- Assisting in asset management new product implementation and approval process.
- Filing and keeping systematic records for all relevant processes.
- Assisting the Fund Manager in preparation of investment meeting, report writing and any tasks relating to fund management activities.
- Perform the Department’s BAU and day-to-day operations as required.
- Perform ad hoc tasks / projects as assigned by the Department Head from time to time.
Requirements:
Education & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field. A Master’s degree or CFA qualification is a plus.
- Strong understanding of financial markets, investment principles, and accounting.
Experience:
- 1-3 years of experience in an investment role, financial analysis, or similar environment (e.g., asset management, private equity, banking).
- Familiarity with equity and fixed income markets, Exchanged Traded Fund, financial instruments, and investment management strategies.
Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of financial modeling, valuation techniques, and financial statement analysis.
- Proficiency with financial tools such as Bloomberg, FactSet, Thomson Reuters, and
- Excel (VBA skills are an advantage).
- Experience in using financial databases and analytics platforms.
