The Assistant Accountant will work closely with various Finance teams supporting the financial operations/accounting across all divisions and functions, ensuring complete, timely and accurate Group level financial information is provided for decision making to optimise business outcomes. You will report to the Finance Manager, Group Reporting.
- Collaborate with various finance teams in the preparation of Group management reports for Senior Management and Shareholders
- Govern and maintain management reporting hierarchies (profit/cost centres and statistical key figures) and Group management reports
- Leverage on technology and business intelligence solutions to enhance reporting capabilities for decision making and streamline work processes
- Provide support on Group wide initiatives (e.g. SAP S4 Hana implementation)
- Undertake other ad-hoc assignments as required
Ideal Candidate
As an ideal candidate, you will have:
- Degree in Finance or Accounting preferred
- Recognised Professional Accounting Qualifications, e.g. CA, ACCA, CPA preferred
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in management reporting/financial analysis
- Good knowledge of SAP
- Good MS Excel skills
- Experience working with BI tools (e.g. Power BI, Microstrategy) and RPA/programming tools (e.g. Power Automate, VBA, Python) is a plus
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Attention to details with good analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross functional teams
