Job Description:
- Ability to read, analyze, understand, and interpret design and construction documents and drawings (Archi, C&S and MEP).
- Utilize BIM to increase the team’s understanding of problems and solutions, and assist the construction and field team in solving issues throughout the project.
- BIM coordination and preparation of shop drawings, crash reports and quantity take off.
- Perform routine assignments requiring a thorough knowledge of BIM software (mostly Revit and Navisworks) standards, practices and techniques.
- Develop increased proficiency in system operation with a resulting increase in productivity, and learns how to use all software options.
- Create necessary parameterized family and maintain project files.
- Assist management with additional assignments as directed.
Job Requirements:
- Proficient in the following design software: AutoCAD, Revit and Navisworks.
- Computer skills in the use of various Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Attention to detail
- Effective time management and multi-tasking skills
- Share valuable information with team members to increase department expertise.
- Minimum Diploma in Architecture/Civil Engineering/ Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- Minimum 3 years relevant working experience in construction industry
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit and Navisworks.
- Experienced in production of shop drawings. (specifically Concrete Body Plan and Combined Services Drawing)
