Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Service:Greet customers upon arrival and provide assistance throughout their shopping experience.
Answer customer queries regarding products, services, and promotions.
Provide product recommendations and ensure a positive shopping experience.
- Sales and Transactions:Assist customers in selecting products, making purchases, and processing payments.
Handle cash, credit, or other forms of payment accurately.
Manage returns and exchanges following company policies.
- Product Knowledge:Maintain a thorough knowledge of products and services offered.
Keep up-to-date with promotional events and sales.
Demonstrate product features and benefits to customers.
- Merchandising and Inventory:Assist in stocking and arranging merchandise on shelves.
Monitor inventory levels and report low stock or discrepancies.
Ensure product displays are organized, clean, and visually appealing.
- Administrative and Operational Tasks:Maintain store cleanliness and ensure that the sales floor is well-organized.
Assist with opening and closing procedures, including balancing the cash register.
Follow company procedures and security policies to prevent loss.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in retail, customer service, or sales is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
- Basic math skills and ability to handle cash transactions accurately.
- Availability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
