The Pharmacy Patient Service Associate will be responsible for the following:
- Collect payment from patients / visitors
- Ensure that retail items on the retail shelves are always readily available for patients/visitors
- Reply to all of patients’ queries, and assist the patients to the items or medications they need to get
- Assist the Pharmacy Technicians/Pharmacists with the re-stocking of retail items on the shelves
- Assist the pharmacy staff with the portering of medications especially during the weekends
- Provide adminstrative assistance in the daily operations and department events
- Participate in projects or take initiative to improve work processes
- Assist with other tasks assigned by the Reporting Officer
Requirements
- Minimum GCE “O” Levels qualification or equivalent.
- Proficient in computer skills (Microsoft Office), handling multiple systems such as SAP will be an advantage.
- Team player with good communication, customer service and interpersonal skills. Ability to speak a second language will be an advantage.
- Able to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Candidates should be comfortable/flexible with working in a hospital setting and in different clinics when needed. Prior experience in hospitality or service industries will be an advantage.
- This is a 2-year contract role, subjected to contract extension or permanent conversion with satisfactory work performance.
