  • Liaise with Financial and HR Teams: Collaborate with the Financial Controller and HR Business Partner to ensure compliance across finance and human resources processes, including tax filings, payroll compliance, and employment law adherence.
  • Training & Awareness: Develop and deliver compliance training programs to employees, ensuring that all staff understand and adhere to regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Cross-Jurisdictional Expertise: Maintain a strong understanding of both Singapore and Guinea’s regulatory environments, with the ability to navigate complex legal frameworks in both jurisdictions.
  • Travel to Guinea: Travel as needed to Guinea to ensure local compliance efforts are effectively managed and aligned with corporate policies.
  • Governance Reporting: Provide regular governance updates and reports to the Deputy CEO and CEO, highlighting any areas of concern and recommending appropriate actions to maintain high standards of corporate governance.

Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business, Finance, or a related field. Advanced qualifications in compliance or corporate governance are a plus.
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in compliance and governance, with a strong focus on Singapore regulations and international jurisdictions.
  • Broad understanding of finance and human resource processes, with experience working closely with finance and HR teams.
  • Strong working knowledge of regulatory frameworks in Singapore; familiarity with Guinea’s legal and regulatory environment is highly desirable.
