Job Description
- Manage the full procurement process, including working with sales and suppliers on requirements, evaluation, negotiation, and contract awards.
- Organize sourcing events such as RFPs and tenders.
- Identify and qualify alternative suppliers.
- Manage vendor relationships to ensure quality, pricing, and delivery standards are met.
- Collaborate with the Sales and Supply Chain teams on supply and delivery matters for contracts.
- Follow up with the sales team on project progress and provide supplier feedback.
- Coordinate with suppliers on regulatory documents to support the sales team.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by your supervisor.
Requirements
- Diploma in Procurement, Supply Chain, Chemistry, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of relevant experience, preferably in the food and beverage, food ingredient, or chemical trading industries.
- Strong vendor management and contract negotiation skills are a plus.
- Proficiency in Chinese is required to communicate with Chinese vendors.
- Experience working in diverse cultural environments is an advantage.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, proactive, motivated, and a team player.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with experience in fast-paced environments, is highly preferred.
