To support the Nursing Department, by performing a variety of clerical, administrative, and secretarial tasks.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Maintain and organize filing systems, both electronic and paper-based.
- Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails, letters, and phone calls.
- Schedule and coordinate meetings, appointments, and events for the Nursing.
- Take accurate minutes during meetings and distribute them in a timely manner.
- Manage and update calendars for department staff, ensuring no conflicts in schedules.
- Input, update, and retrieve data from departmental databases.
- Act as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.
- Monitor and maintain office supplies and equipment for the Nursing Department.
- Process orders for supplies and ensure timely replenishment.
- Assist nursing staff with administrative tasks, including documentation and record-keeping.
- Support the preparation and coordination of training sessions and department meetings.
Requirements
- NITEC in Office Skills, Business Administration, or relevant studies.
- At least 2 years of experience, in an administrative or secretarial role, preferably in healthcare or nursing homes.
- Knowledge of basic medical terminology and healthcare administration is advantageous.
- Able to handle confidential information and managing of calendars.
- Excellent written and communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Be prepared to perform other duties as assigned.
Working Hours & Location
- West Area, West Coast
- 8am - 530pm, 5 Days work week
