Admin Manager (Schools)

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee School Operations: Manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of the school, including administrative processes, finance, procurement, and HR. Ensure that all procedures comply with current policies, guidelines, and regulations.
  • Budget Planning & Resource Allocation: Plan and manage the school's budget effectively. Allocate financial resources and other assets efficiently to support school programs, activities, and goals.
  • Finance and Procurement Management: Handle procurement processes, vendor relationships, and contracts. Ensure proper financial management by tracking expenditures, ensuring compliance with financial policies, and preparing reports.
  • Human Resource Support: Provide administrative support in HR matters, including payroll, recruitment, staff onboarding, and leave administration. Ensure that HR processes align with school policies and labor regulations.
  • Process Improvement and IT Integration: Leverage IT tools and solutions to streamline operations, improve productivity, and enhance workflow efficiency. Implement technology-driven strategies to support administrative functions such as record-keeping, data management, and communication.
  • Compliance and Reporting: Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements in all areas, including financial, procurement, and HR processes. Prepare and submit reports, statistics, and data to school leadership as required.
  • Collaboration and Leadership: Work closely with school leaders, teachers, and staff to foster a collaborative environment. Provide leadership in administrative operations to ensure seamless support for the school’s educational objectives.


Requirements for Ideal Candidate:

  • At least 3 year experience in any of the below areas would be anadvantage, preferably in a managerial role:
     Finance
     Procurement
     Human Resources
     General administration
     Project management
  •  Strong communication skills, with the ability to lead and work well in teams.
  •  Good organisational skills with ability to multitask in a dynamic, fast- paced environment.
  •  Strong analytical and critical thinking ability to grasp timelines, operating context and ground realities.
  •  Ability to work effectively with stakeholders and mobilise stakeholders towards a collective purpose.
  •  Familarity with Microsoft Office applications and comfortable with using IT systems.
