The Senior Account Manager in Growth team, is responsible for driving new business growth by identifying, pursuing, and closing new sales opportunities. This role requires a highly motivated individual with excellent prospecting skills and the ability to build strong relationships with potential clients.
Responsibilities include:
- Prospecting: Identify and research potential clients and new market opportunities.
- Lead Generation: Develop and execute strategies to generate leads through cold calling, networking, and other outreach methods.
- Client Engagement: Initiate contact with potential clients, present the company’s products or services, and conduct product demonstrations.
- Relationship Building: Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.
- Sales Presentations: Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations to prospective clients.
- Negotiation: Negotiate terms and close sales deals to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Market Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitors to identify new business opportunities.
- Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities and prepare regular reports on sales performance and market feedback.
Qualifications:
- 5-7 years external experience with proven consultative sales, preferably experience in high technology (services, software or hardware), with evidence of prior success in Sales.
- Proven experience in a sales hunter role or similar position.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent negotiation and closing skills.
- Familiarity with SFDC.COM and sales tracking tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
- Understanding of IT industry ecosystem
- Proven experience building excellent client relationships,offering value added, insightful and strategic insight into their business.
- Strong computer proficiency.
- Excellent written and oral/presentation skills.
- Ability to develop compelling proposals that adhere to client need
- Knowledge of the full life cycle of the sales process from prospecting to close
- Language requirements as determined by territory needs
