Senior Account Manager

International Data Corporation Asia/pacific Pte Ltd

The Senior Account Manager in Growth team, is responsible for driving new business growth by identifying, pursuing, and closing new sales opportunities. This role requires a highly motivated individual with excellent prospecting skills and the ability to build strong relationships with potential clients.


Responsibilities include:

  • Prospecting: Identify and research potential clients and new market opportunities.
  • Lead Generation: Develop and execute strategies to generate leads through cold calling, networking, and other outreach methods.
  • Client Engagement: Initiate contact with potential clients, present the company’s products or services, and conduct product demonstrations.
  • Relationship Building: Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.
  • Sales Presentations: Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations to prospective clients.
  • Negotiation: Negotiate terms and close sales deals to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Market Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitors to identify new business opportunities.
  • Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities and prepare regular reports on sales performance and market feedback.


Qualifications:

  • 5-7 years external experience with proven consultative sales, preferably experience in high technology (services, software or hardware), with evidence of prior success in Sales.
  • Proven experience in a sales hunter role or similar position.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent negotiation and closing skills.
  • Familiarity with SFDC.COM and sales tracking tools.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
  • Understanding of IT industry ecosystem
  • Proven experience building excellent client relationships,offering value added, insightful and strategic insight into their business.
  • Strong computer proficiency.
  • Excellent written and oral/presentation skills.
  • Ability to develop compelling proposals that adhere to client need
  • Knowledge of the full life cycle of the sales process from prospecting to close
  • Language requirements as determined by territory needs
  • Self-Motivated and be able to thrive in a results-driven environment
  • Ability to build rapport and collaborate closely with others within the company and externally.
