Key Responsibilities
- Assist Restaurant Manager in managing daily concept operations
- Engage with guest and ensure smooth floor service
- Address customer needs, comments, and complaints
- Deliver outstanding wine assistance to customers, customise suggestions to their preferences and facilitating their wine choices.
- Manage wine purchases and inventory effectively (stock-take)
- Work closely with our kitchen team to develop wine and food pairing options.
- Maintain a deep knowledge of wine, including varietals, regions, and vintages
- Mentor and coach restaurant team members on wine knowledge
- Stay informed about industry developments, particularly in beverages and wines.
- Track stock levels of food, supplies, and equipment, forecast needs, and oversee ordering as necessary
Who we are looking for
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a sommelier
- WSET or CSW qualifications preferred
- Individuals passionate about wines and dedicated to sharing the wine lifestyle with guests.
