Responsibilities:
• Analyze enhancement requests related to the repo business and new products.
• Collaborate with Architects to propose effective solutions.
• Prepare specifications, estimate workloads, develop plans, and create test scenarios and release documentation.
• Coordinate and manage user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Ensure monthly releases meet team milestones for analysis, coding, and testing.
• Support the production release roadmap.
• Provide Level 3 (expert) application support.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues and bugs.
• Enhance operational processes for efficiency.
• Provide coaching and guidance to junior team members as needed.
What our client is looking for:
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science / information technology / Programming & Systems Analysis / Science (Computer Studies)
• At least 5 years of experience as a Calypso Business Analyst, specializing in the Calypso back office
• Experience in Calypso versions v14 to v17
• Strong understanding of Static Data, Workflows, Scheduled Tasks, Confirmations, Settlements, Messaging/SWIFT, Positions, Accounting, Corporate Actions, Filters, Reporting Framework, and Reconciliation features
• Knowledge of financial assets (repos, bonds, SLB, issuances) and the trade lifecycle
• Experience with regulatory reporting such as HRF, NORIA, and MMSR
• Expertise in interfacing Calypso with external systems
• Hands-on experience in implementation projects
• Proven track record of working in Agile environments
• Experience in implementing NR scenarios.
• Willingness to provide L3 support when required.
• Open to participating in on-call rotations to cover night and weekend support.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proactive approach to security.
• Ability to work independently under pressure.
• Team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Enthusiastic about collaborating with business users.
