The role requires the incumbent to support business leaders with HR advisory services and operational duties, including work pass processing.
The position also involves providing technical HR solutions tailored to the specific needs of engineering and operational teams.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the implementation of HR strategies that align with business objectives.
- Provide day-to-day HR support on employee relations, recruitment, and performance management.
- Handle administrative tasks such as work pass applications and documentation.
- Support workforce planning and employee engagement initiatives.
- Provide guidance on HR policies and procedures to both employees and management.
- Collaborate with the engineering and operational teams to understand their specific HR needs.
- Participate in HR projects and initiatives aimed at improving organizational efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations.
- Manage employee records and maintain HR systems.
Requirements
- A diploma or degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in an HR role, preferably with some exposure to HR business partnering or advisory work.
- Basic knowledge of HR processes including recruitment, employee relations, and HR operations.
- Experience with work pass processing and familiarity with local labor laws is beneficial.
- Some technical knowledge or background in engineering disciplines such as electrical, mechanical, or process engineering would be advantageous.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in HR systems and Microsoft Office tools.
