What you will do:
This position is required to be an expert of transforming business data into readable, goal-oriented reports that drive innovation and growth for the global logistics and supply chain (GLSC) organization. The ideal candidate will be technically skilled in all aspects of data analytics, including data mining, generation and visualization; highly experienced in project management with strong interpersonal skills including presentation, communication, decision making and situation awareness skills. Additionally, this person should be a problem solver, enthusiastic with excellent initiative and learning attitude; and embraces challenges in a dynamic environment.
How You Will Do It:
- Represent the GLSC business to lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of business data analytics platforms and systems in partnership with technical development teams to ensure business requirements and deliverable timelines are met,
- Lead the design and execution of UAT and post implementation maintenance plans and recommend business solutions where relevant to ensure deliverables are achieved according to business requirements,
- Work directly with leadership and end users to gather and manage business requirements for development of data analytics platforms and systems,
- Conduct efficiency analysis for GLSC related ERP systems, initiate projects and studies via the development of appropriate templates & models,
- Prepare regular GLSC management KPI reports & presentation materials,
- Evaluate internal systems to propose and deploy best practices for efficient handling processing, and cleansing of databases.
What We Look For:
- A good degree or diploma in any discipline.
- Minimum 7 years of relevant working experience within a MNC environment in database and data model design and segmentation. Data domain experience in supply chain planning or supply chain order fulfilment is preferred; preferably with prior experience as a Business/Data Analyst.
- Practical experiences leading projects with both business and technical team stakeholders in MNC environment. Professional training and certification in project management and/or Agile disciplines such as PMP, PSPO, SAFe is a plus but not mandatory.
- Demonstration of strong ability in applying techniques to analyse data, leading to business-relevant conclusions and present data insights for business decisions.
- Equipped with advanced skills in MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, BI techniques and data visualization tools. Experience with PowerBI is preferred.
- Good understanding of STTM data structures and SQL query at end user level, with aptitude for learning other analytics tools. Exposure to Snowflake is preferred.
- Good working knowledge in at least one major ERP systems, such as SAP, ORACLE or BAAN.
- Proven success as a team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
