Roles and Responsibilities

The main responsibilities of the Security Control Room Supervisor are the delivery of Control Room operations including incident management; CCTV & alarm monitoring and management across multiple locations and the leadership, training and welface management of the team.

  • Monitor and manage incident alert and response platforms in order to Identify, establish, assess and escalate according to established SOPs;
  • Report incidents throughout the region as per SOPs;
  • Collate and report on security related intelligence to safeguard all staff members that are traveling or based in the region;
  • Supervising emergency procedures across the region including local emergency procedures;
  • Supervising and coordinating the out of hours’ security team operations across the region.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with an excellent command of the English language both verbally and in writing;
  • Experience in operational security management & decision making;
  • The ability to work effectively in a highly demanding and at times, stressful environment;
  • A flexible approach and be comfortable responding quickly to developing security incidents;
  • A methodical, structured approach to incident escalation, management, resolution and reporting;
  • Ability to work under own initiative, making decisions to benefit SRS and client;
  • Competent on operator knowledge of CCure9000 (access control); Genetec video (video management services). Competent on Microsoft Word/Excel/Outlook/PowerPoint;
  • Deliver excellent customer service;
  • Demonstrate the ability to think and act quickly in emergencies or under pressure;
  • Have an ability to deliver clear verbal and written reports where necessary;
  • Maintain a high standard of personal presentation;
  • Demonstrate reliability including the ability to deliver high standards of both punctuality and attendance in order to ensure team effectiveness and availability;
  • Able to demonstrate an ability to work as part of a team;
  • Able to deal calmly and confidently with all demands from the public;
