Roles and Responsibilities
The main responsibilities of the Security Control Room Supervisor are the delivery of Control Room operations including incident management; CCTV & alarm monitoring and management across multiple locations and the leadership, training and welface management of the team.
- Monitor and manage incident alert and response platforms in order to Identify, establish, assess and escalate according to established SOPs;
- Report incidents throughout the region as per SOPs;
- Collate and report on security related intelligence to safeguard all staff members that are traveling or based in the region;
- Supervising emergency procedures across the region including local emergency procedures;
- Supervising and coordinating the out of hours’ security team operations across the region.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with an excellent command of the English language both verbally and in writing;
- Experience in operational security management & decision making;
- The ability to work effectively in a highly demanding and at times, stressful environment;
- A flexible approach and be comfortable responding quickly to developing security incidents;
- A methodical, structured approach to incident escalation, management, resolution and reporting;
- Ability to work under own initiative, making decisions to benefit SRS and client;
- Competent on operator knowledge of CCure9000 (access control); Genetec video (video management services). Competent on Microsoft Word/Excel/Outlook/PowerPoint;
- Deliver excellent customer service;
- Demonstrate the ability to think and act quickly in emergencies or under pressure;
- Have an ability to deliver clear verbal and written reports where necessary;
- Maintain a high standard of personal presentation;
- Demonstrate reliability including the ability to deliver high standards of both punctuality and attendance in order to ensure team effectiveness and availability;
- Able to demonstrate an ability to work as part of a team;
- Able to deal calmly and confidently with all demands from the public;
