Overview:
The Baker is able to work well together in a team to make beautiful breads and viennoiseries for the company’s bakery cafes and other wholesale clients. Sourdough breads, tin breads, croissants, and cruffins are some of the products produced at our central bakery at Mandai.
Duties & Responsibilities:
-Work well as a cooperative member of the team
-Pursue baking excellence in each of the products made
-Mixing, shaping and baking of various types of bread/croissant dough
-Sheeting/Lamination of croissant dough and shaping of viennoiseries and cruffins
-Production of preferments, curds, and roux
-Packing of finished products
-General preparation work
-Maintenance and cleaning of floor area and equipments
Requirements:

- Very passionate about bread and croissants
- Motivated to want to delight and please all our different customers
- Attentive to details and meticulous to ensure smooth operations with minimal errors
- Good interpersonal skills so as to build good working relationships with colleagues and managers
- Good problem-solving skills to ensure continued operations in the face of challenges
