Brief Desrciption & Role
The function of this role is to source materials in accordance to the project or production requirements and manage inventories turnover.
This individual should be self-motivated, creative and proactive, to work independently in fast-paced environment and work closely with internal depts, and managing external stakeholder relations.
Responsibility
· Determining the required material through sources, planning, purchasing and seletion of supplier base.
· Prepare BOM costing and sourcing for alternate parts.
· Ensuring materials meet specifications, quality standard and are cost efficient, inclusive of in bound freight cost.
· Managing inventory issues, schedule changes and cancellation through excess and obsolence (ie: E & O).
· Preparing cost estimatesand performance reports.
· Co-ordinate and liasing with contract manufacturer on material related issues.
· Liasing with customer, supplier and distributors pertaining to material supply issues.
Requirement
· Diploma/ Degree in Engineering, Preferably Electronics or Electrical Engineering Procurement experience in electrical and electronics parts
· Good communication skills
· Knowledge of production process and Logistics Advantage
· Analytical and able to work independently
· Right attitude, good teamwork skills and passion for your work.
