Job Responsibilities
- Responsible for develop & implementing all QA/QC inspection and testing, as required by specifications or by regulatory requirements and shall be familiar with all aspects of testing required for a major project of similar tender scope with similar scale and complexity including the quality testing requirements of local Authorities such as the Standards, Productivity and Innovation Board (SPRING Singapore);
- Lead and manage the QA/QC team and expertise to the overall Quality Management System, policies and standards to support proper and smooth execution of all Quality related activities in meeting the specified standards and requirements.
- Develop and implement preventive measure and corrective actions for non-conforming products include training to ensure awareness of quality procedures and specific responsibilities in the QA/QC process.
- Able to demonstrate implementation, documentation & monitoring experience in the development and application of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001.
- Able to audit QA/QC activities of the staff and sub-contractors to assess conformance with the QA/QC procedures.
- Assist in the implementation of Project Quality Plan;
- Assist in preparation of weekly & monthly reports on QAQC matters;
- Conduct Kick off meetings and QAQC activities with subcontractors;
- Plan and organize mockups and trade demonstration to ensure compliance to approved method statement and inspection test plan;
- Manage testing schedule for SO/Representative witnessing and ensure compliance to project test requirements
- Conduct inspections to in-progress / completed works and ensure Works are in accordance to project specification and approved construction drawings;
- Raise report of any non-conformances and carry out root cause analysis;
- Monitor corrective actions and process improvement;
- Manage subcontractors to clear defects and achieve required CONQUAS target;
- Able to plan / coordinate site works and resolve drawing details and discrepancies.
- Able to liaise and attend with consultants and subcontractors for Inspections.
- Able to work independently and as a key member of the Site Management.
- Assist Construction/Project Manager in overseeing the daily construction and site coordination of different activities.
Job Requirements
- Degree in Engineering with Minimum 5 years of relevant engineering experience for projects of similar scale, complexity and nature of work.
- Good knowledge in the construction with proven track records in managing multi-million-dollar projects
- Good Organizational and planning skills
- Able to work independently and as a team
- 5.5 days work week
