This regional role is within the Supply planning & DIM regional function reporting to the Director Supply Planning & DIM APAC.
The Mission
Within the service market logistics area, the Supply Chain Engineer will be a key stakeholder of major activities in the 6 sites of APAC (Australia, South Korea, Indonesia, India, China and Singapore). She/he will have to supervise and monitor logistics processes to ensure objectives are fully met. Scope of expertise is expected to be on Supply planning but some warehouse or packaging activities could also be covered.
The position will be part of performance management initiatives to further support our organization in continuous improvement cycle and work closely with Supply planning team of Volvo Group Service Market Logistics, APAC Region.
Focused Activities
- You will lead supply planning activities across sites
- You will handle Supply Chain staff, mentors and influences others on assignments
- You will work closely with office and warehouse operations to support road map initiatives
- You will identify, mitigate risks and drive continuous improvement throughout the supply chain for all assigned projects and activities

Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management / Logistics / Operations Management or related field
- Minimum work experience of 5 years (in addition to internship period if any) in similar job role/skill set
- Candidate with MBA from established university will have an added advantage
- Excellent communication skills in English due to communication with stakeholders from various countries. Additional languages are given merit
