Hiring Design Engineer for a industry leading consultancy firm.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed designs for mechanical and electrical systems, including electrical, HVAC, air conditioning, and fire protection systems.
- Ensure all designs comply with local design regulations, standards, and codes.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other engineers to ensure integrated project delivery.
- Review and approve design documents and drawings, ensuring technical accuracy and compliance with project specifications.
- Coordinate with contractors and suppliers to ensure the proper implementation of designs.
- Provide technical guidance and support to the project team throughout the design and construction phases.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure designs are correctly implemented and meet quality standards.
- Identify and resolve any design-related issues or discrepancies.
Requirements
- Degree/ Diploma in Mechanical/ HVAC/ Mechatronics/ Electrical/ Chemical Engineering or equivalent.
- At least 3 – 5 years working experience with basic exposure in MEP design and construction site.
- Has the vision to develop career to become registered Professional Engineer.
- Good understanding of Singapore Code of Practice and authority submission process
- Has interest to develop career in construction industry.
- Able to operate AutoCAD software, MS Excel, MS Words and MS PowerPoint, MS Project and Project related software.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
