Responsibilities:
- Design and select electrical hardware for new, modification and/or upgrade of production machine.
- Prepare and review system specifications, requirements, drawings, control panels, process functional description and single line diagram (SLD).
- Write PLC programs and debug/troubleshoot for new equipment projects.
- Coordinate with Equipment Engineering (EQE) and Design Engineer for process and equipment improvements.
- Support Equipment Engineering (EQE) and Facilities Technician in troubleshooting equipment issues.
Requirements:
- Minimum degree in Electrical, Computer Science, Automation or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years of working experience in a related field.
- Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in fast-paced machine building projects.
- Knowledge in interpreting and designing electrical diagrams (Schematics Diagrams).
- Knowledge in control schematics, motor controls and materials take-off.
- Knowledge in Keyence, Omron, Allen Bradly, Mitsubishi PLC/HMI software applications.
- Proficient in MS Office software applications.
- Proficient in electrical design for new, modifications and upgrade.
- Proficient in PLC/HMI programming.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong troubleshooting skill.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Ability to work independently with minimum guidance.
