Job Description:
We are looking for a committed and goal-driven fundraiser to join our team. The Fundraising Lead will work closely with the Head of Communications and Partnerships, playing a crucial role in developing and executing fundraising strategies that align with our organization’s mission. This position requires a proactive approach to identifying and cultivating donor relationships, as well as leveraging partnerships to maximize our fundraising potential. The ideal candidate will be passionate about making a difference and possess strong communication and organizational skills.
Job Responsibilities:
- Create and implement fundraising strategies to achieve financial objectives.
- Prepare and deliver grant proposals to potential donors and grant makers.
- Explore and nurture new fundraising opportunities.
- Build strong relationships with key donors.
- Collaborate closely with the Head of Communications and Partnerships, the Executive Director, and the Board Fundraising Chair.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Communications or a related field.
- A minimum of five years of relevant experience in fundraising or a similar position within a non-profit organization or the social services sector.
- Demonstrated success in fundraising efforts.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Capable of performing well under pressure.
- Excellent team player who can also work independently.
