The focus of this role is to provide consulting engineering services to clients of Arup Singapore.
The Opportunity
- Provide detailed design work across a broad range of projects within Civil engineering and related areas
- Lead the technical / design input on such projects, ensuring work quality is maintained at the expected standard and review, supervision, and development of technical skills within the team
- Project management, relationship management and related business development activities with new and existing clients
- Provide input into the on-going skill development within the Infrastructure group through such activities as the mentoring of less-experienced staff members; researching/developing novel technical/design applications and/or procedures; and playing a key support role to senior staff members in all formal and informal training-related activities.
- Assist in the preparation and delivery of detailed tender submissions and presentations; prepare project reports for clients summarising key issues and strategically advising on best outcomes.

Is this role right for you?
- Recognized Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent with at least 8 years of relevant experience in civil and structural works
- Obtain Singapore PE or Chartered Engineer status
- Familiar with Singapore Codes and Practices, contract administration and authorities requirements and submission procedures; Substantial knowledge and consulting and technical experience in civil and structural engineering and related areas
- Ability to independently undertake project and technical analyses, and report on results with well versed in various contract forms like PPSCOC, etch
- Experience in managing key projects, including the supervision of multi-disciplinary project teams where appropriate as well as project management, construction management and supervision
