Role Description
Within the Treasury & Trading (T&T) Asia department, under supervision of the Senior Business Manager the Business Applications and IT Development Specialist internship consists of improving the T&T Asia internal applications part of the operational framework and processes of the Sales & Client Trading teams as well as Treasury team. The intern is notably expected to:
■ improve, develop, and maintain all T&T Asia internal applications
■ support ad-hoc request from T&T Asia teams
Responsibilities
T&T Asia Internal IT Project Management
■ Identify business needs
■ Develop and deliver end-to-end solutions
■ Lead and drive T&T IT internal projects within defined scope
■ Make impact assessments, find optimal solutions
■ Ensure successful running, completion, and documentation of internal IT projects
T&T Asia Internal Applications & Data Management
■ Review the framework of the T&T Asia internal applications
■ Rationalize T&T data management
■ Improve and automate T&T Asia reporting/dashboard
Key Interactions
■ With T&T Asia teams to identify needs and implement ad-hoc solutions
■ With Asia IT to support the governance, the implementation, the support of T&T internal applications
Compliance and Risk
■ Comply with the relevant laws, regulations and guidelines issue by the MAS or HKMA, or any other regulating authority
■ Strictly adhere to the Bank’s policies, procedures and trading limits
■ Escalate potential compliance and risk issues promptly
Core Skills
■ IT programming skills: Python (scikit-learn, NumPy, pandas, matplotlib,..etc), VBA, Power BI, R, SQL
