Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic Manager, Audit (Banking/Insurance) to join our team. In this role, you will leverage your audit expertise in the financial services sector, with a strong emphasis on banking and capital markets. You will lead and oversee operational and financial audits, manage audit engagements, and ensure that services are delivered efficiently within established timelines and budgets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage audit engagements for financial services clients, particularly in banking and capital markets, ensuring adherence to regulatory and professional standards.
- Oversee the audit portfolio, including budgeting, resource allocation, billing, and monitoring of engagement progress.
- Build and nurture strong client relationships, ensuring a positive experience throughout the engagement.
- Mentor and develop a high-performing audit team, providing regular feedback and driving value-added services.
- Stay current on accounting trends, technical issues, and industry developments relevant to clients.
- Identify industry-specific risks and compliance requirements, staying informed on auditing standards and regulatory changes.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy; CA (Singapore) or equivalent preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of audit experience, with consideration given to Assistant Audit Managers.
- Experience in auditing within banking, capital markets, payments, or fintech is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of risk management, compliance, auditing standards, and accounting principles.
- Excellent project management and time management skills, with the ability to adapt to shifting priorities.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all levels.
