- Defining optimal sales force structure and managing hiring to scale the team appropriate to market conditions and opportunities.
- Setting individual sales targets with the sales team, and tracking performance and adjusting strategies as needed.
- Overseeing the activities and performance of the sales team by tracking sales goals, setting individual sales targets, and facilitate the ongoing training of sales personnel.
- Driving the sales team towards high performance by conducting reviews, appraisals, and offering constructive feedback.
- Working closely with the marketing team to ensure consistent lead generation.
- Collaborating with senior executives to establish and execute a sales goal for the region.
- Managing detailed reporting of sales metrics and KPIs, adjusting sales techniques and strategies based on data analysis.
Tasks and Duties
Day-to-day tasks of a Sales Manager may include:
- Compiling and analyzing sales figures, reporting back to senior management teams.
