Total Rewards Transformation Leader
The Role
Kyndryl is looking for a highly experienced Total Rewards Transformation Leader who is responsible for the overall development of the company’s benefit plans and programs, including medical/dental/vision/life insurance, vendor management, wellness and health education initiatives, executive benefits/perquisites, retirement/pension plans, disability programs, time off and work/life balance programs.
You will spearhead the strategic transformation of our Total Rewards programs starting with employee benefits and pensions. This role will involve evaluating current offerings and administration, identifying opportunities for improvement, and implementing innovative solutions to enhance employee satisfaction and engagement. The ideal candidate will possess a strategic mindset, and the ability to drive change across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Benefits Transformation
1. Strategic Planning and Leadership:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive benefits transformation strategy aligned with the organization's goals and objectives. This will involve leading cross-functional teams to ensure successful execution of benefits initiatives and providing thought leadership and guidance on emerging trends and best practices in employee benefits.
- Develop metrics and KPIs to measure the success and impact of benefits programs (performance and ROI) and ensure this is reviewed and reported back to senior leadership on a regular basis.
2. Benefits Program Evaluation:
- Assess the effectiveness and evaluate the financial value of current benefits and pensions programs and identify areas for improvement. Conduct benchmarking studies and analyse competitive data to ensure our benefits offerings remain competitive and ensure all benefits programs comply with federal, state, and local regulations. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of legal requirements and industry standards related to employee benefits.
- Leverage technology as an enabler to streamline benefits administration and enhance the employee experience.
3. Stakeholder Engagement and Change Management - Collaborate with senior leadership, HR Business Partners, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment and support for benefits initiatives. This will involve communicating changes and updates to employees effectively, providing education and resources as needed.

The role will be required to support key strategic initiatives within the Total Rewards function including but not limited to the following key areas
Communication Strategy - define a clear communication and change management plan for key compensation programs
Sales Compensation Design – review our current compensation design and suggest way to simplify and improvise the design and administration of our incentive plans.

Required Technical and Professional Experience
· A seasoned total rewards or Compensation and Benefits professional who is capable of designing and conceptualizing, as well as direct experience turning ideas into reality.
· 10+ years of experience in Compensation and Benefits including compensation program design, benefits design and administration, sales compensation and compensation cycle administration
· Knowledge of industry benchmark methodology in both compensation and benefits
· Vendor relationship management in the total rewards space
· Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management or a related field or a combination of relevant experience, education and training.
· Excellent project management, analytical, and influencing skills.
· Strong communication skills including writing, powerpoint design, and presenting to a variety of audiences, large and small.
· Advanced excel knowledge, with the capacity to develop complex formulas and models to identify root causes and/or trends.
· Ability to work with all levels of partners, adapt quickly to changing priorities and business needs, and influence to build consensus.
· Able to work autonomously in a matrixed environment.
