Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach and support deployment of Operational Excellence/IMEx principles and tools in all departments and ecosystems.
- Coach CI (Continuous Improvement) specialist/champions and Opex specialists.
- Develop and ensure capability building site wide on IMEx principles and Six Sigma.
- Lead/Facilitate Lean or Six Sigma project assigned as per the business needs to improve performance as per Balanced score card and reach world class status as per external benchmarks (e.g. POBOS).
- Ensure goal alignments and consistent application of IMEx standards to deliver business results across all the domains (safety, quality, supply, financial and people).
- Work with Site Leadership team for site strategy development and deployment, Standard Work (SW) and Structured Gemba across all ecosystems.
- Provide leadership & guidance to site Yellow Belts (M1).
- Provide OpEx orientation and Yellow Belt (M1) Root Cause Analysis training to colleagues across the site. Promote Good Practices and sharing knowledge across the site and within the PGS network in order to benefit from organizational learning. Coordinate Tuas API’s participation in the Global IMEx Community of Practice.
- Collaborate with the Regional deployment lead (DL) to ensure consistent application of IMEx principles.
- Co-ordinate the CI governance forum for the site to ensure consistency across Ecosystems.
- While not responsible for ecosystem design, the Site Opex lead will collaborate with Regional IMEx Deployment Leaders and contribute to ongoing refinement and continuous improvement of IMEx operating standards for Tuas API to achieve world class manufacturing standards.
- Balance the drive for world class against the need for practical solutions.
