Overview:
We are seeking a motivated Finance Assistant to join our finance team. This role provides hands-on experience across various accounting functions, including accounts management, financial reporting, and tax processes. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in maintaining the full set of accounts, ensuring accuracy and proper documentation of all entries.
- Facilitate Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) processes, including invoice processing, payments, and collections.
- Support daily tasks such as data entry, filing, and record maintenance to ensure smooth financial operations.
- Help prepare journal entries, perform bank reconciliations, and maintain balance sheet schedules.
- Assist in preparing of monthly management reports and financial statements.
- Coordinate yearly statutory audits by preparing schedules and providing necessary documentation to auditors.
- Support quarterly GST submission by gathering relevant financial data.
- Assist in preparing annual tax computations and income tax filings.
- Contribute to the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts.
- Perform other ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the Corporate Services Executive or finance team.
Requirements:
- Diploma in Accountancy, Finance, or currently pursuing relevant qualifications.
- 1-2 years of experience in an accounting or finance role is preferred (fresh graduates are welcome to apply).
- Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., TMS, SAGE) is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Good communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
