Role Summary
The candidate will coordinate the day-to-day activities, installation & commissioning of a highly complex CCTV Video Management System project. The Project coordinator will work closely with junior & senior Systems Engineering teams to be the customers primary point of contact and their trusted advisor for the length of the project.
Main Responsibilities
- Become the primary point of contact for the customer for the deployment of the CCTV project for the day to day activities.
- Understand and ensure that both customer needs and technical requirements are met throughout the lifecycle of each project.
- Learn, understand and coordinate the end to end project delivery and requirements.
- Learn & understand the technical capabilities of the clients’ CCTV system.
- Effectively communicate the customers' requirements to the Operations Team to allow the solution to be accurately built to the agreed specification.
- Attend the customer site location for meetings, and to oversee the project deployment.
- Work closely with the Head of Systems Engineering and project teams to make sure the job requirements are met and delivered to the customers satisfaction.
- Work closely with the Operations Team to understand project lead times, and effectively communicate this information to the customer.
- Ensure regular touchpoints with your customers through calls, email, and face-to-face meetings.
- Understand your customers vision and roadmap, identifying opportunities for use cases, integrations, and program expansion; Feed this back into the agile development process to promote roadmap alignment with key accounts.
- Effectively agree, record and communicate project milestones and help develop associated formal processes and relevant documentation.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s in information Technology or relevant fields.
- More than 3 years of relevant project management experience, preferably in a Security, surveillance, or IP video industry.
- Proven ability to remotely troubleshoot and resolve project related problems.
- Very good written and oral language skills.
- Excellent knowledge of Office 365, further project management or documentation tools are a plus.
