Job Responsibilities
l Preparation of ingredients and other basic cooking tasks as directed by the head chef or restaurant manger.
l Prepare ingredients by washing, peeling and cutting.
l Monitor and mange kitchen inventory, ensuring freshness of ingredients, restocking, supplies and informing the chef or manger when items are running low.
l Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the kitchen, including of washing dishes, working surfaces, and sweeping floors.
l Ensure kitchen equipment is functioning and well maintained.
l Adhere to kitchen safety and hygiene standards to prevent accidents and food contamination.
l Follow all company policies and procedures, including uniform and grooming standards.
Job Requirement
l Availability to work on shifts, weekends and public holidays
l On-The-Job training will be provided
l 1 to 3 years of related experience
l High level of personal hygiene
l Able to work in a fast paced environment
