Job Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee the pre-owned / new car business management and operations.
- Develop and implement business strategies, initiatives, and operational plans to drive growth and achieve volume and profitability targets.
- Oversee the management of car inventory to ensure an efficient stock turnover.
- Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports as well as analyse financial performance and implement measures to optimise profitability.
- Working closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure all requirements are met
- Manage the training and development of sales team, conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback and coaching to encourage teamwork and professional growth
- Collaborate with the Head of Sales to implement sales strategies, propose promotions and incentives to drive growth and achieve volume and profitability targets, and support inventory management to ensure key model availability and optimal stock levels.
- Participate in industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities, and stay informed about industry trends, market developments, customer needs, and competitor activities
Job Requirements
- 5-8 years of working experience in the Automotive industry, preferably within the luxury segment
- Proven track record of success in sales management
- A team player with excellent leadership, people management, communication and interpersonal skills, able to interact and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess situations and make informed decisions.
- In-depth knowledge of industry trends, market dynamics, and regulatory requirements.
- A valid class 3 driving license and clean driving record
