Job Scope:
- perform minor maintenance
- performing checks, start-up and shutdown operations on process equipment such as pumps and compressors.
- carry out filter changes
- isolating piping systems for plant start-up, shutdowns, product grade change and troubleshooting operations
- adjusting process parameters to optimize process operations under supervision of Supervisors
- commissioning and decommissioning of process equipment
- performing emergency shutdown of process equipment
- proper handing and blending of non-conforming and off specs products
- preparing plant equipment for maintenance
- preparing chemicals, including mixing and dilution, for process operations
- performing inter-tank transfers of chemicals and products based on established quality procedures.
- performing emergency response activities and drills
Requirement:
- At least 2-3 years relevant experience.
- 12 hr rotating shift work.
- Nitec / Diploma in Chemical related discipline.
