Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the fleet, including scheduling, dispatch, and route planning to ensure timely and cost-effective transportation of materials and equipment to construction sites.
- Monitor vehicle usage, fuel consumption, and maintenance schedules to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime.
- Manage the repair and maintenance of vehicles, ensuring that all vehicles are safe, properly maintained, and meet legal and safety standards.
- Coordinate with project managers and site supervisors to ensure that equipment and materials are delivered on time to meet construction timelines.
- Ensure that all logistical operations run smoothly, from planning and execution to delivery.
- Handle the coordination of transport services with third-party providers, ensuring that contracted services meet company standards.
- Ensure that all fleet vehicles comply with safety, environmental, and operational regulations.
- Conduct regular inspections of vehicles to ensure that they meet company safety standards.
- Keep detailed records of all fleet maintenance, inspections, and compliance certifications.
Requirement:
- Minimum Diploma in Logistics / Supply Chain Management or equivalent
- At least 2 years of Fleet/Transport Management experience in the Construction / Civil Engineering industries.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to start work immediately / within short notice
