Job Summary
We are searching for a talented and passionate Chief Technology Officer to join our growing team! In this role, you will lead a team of software engineers to design, develop, and implement innovative technology solutions to meet our users' and business needs. You will collaborate closely with our leadership team, designers, product managers, and software engineers to bring our technology products to life.
Job Description:
- You will be responsible for setting and delivering our engineering team's OKRs
- Lead and inspire our engineering team to foster strong collaboration and build a great product
- Understand our business goals and create a strong technology strategy to achieve them
- Improve our system architecture and software engineering practices through your experience
- Work closely with other key stakeholders to align engineering efforts for maximum impact
- Identify and advocate new technologies and tools to drive innovation and productivity
- Optimize costs and relationships with software vendors and technology partners
- Dive in and get hands-on with our engineering efforts when necessary!
Requirements:
- 5+ years experience in technology leadership roles, preferably in startup environments
- Strong background in software engineering, system architecture, and emerging technologies
- Experience with React/React Native, Ruby, AWS ecosystem, social / e-commerce products a plus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to create timely technical plans that drive impact
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a similar field / strong equivalent experience
