Staff Nurse - Office Hours ( Operatng Theatre - Clinic Settings)

Operating Theatre Nurse’s Job Responsibilities:

1. Assist in paediatric sedation
2. Ensure communication with Anaesthesiologist and Radiation Oncologist throughout the procedure to ensure a successful treatment
3. Ensures patients’ safety at all times.
4. To check crash cart, emergency equipment and supplies daily.
5. Provide pre and post-operative nursing care.
6. Assist the Nurse Clinician/Manager in assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of patient’s care.
7. Adhere the practices and SOPs to provide safe patient care.
8. Ensure accurate documentation and maintain high professional standards in patient care.
9. Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned by the Clinic Manager or Doctor

Enrolled Nurse’s Job Responsibilities:

1. General nursing duties in radiology clinic services including patient preparation, pre-procedure questionaire, patient in&out of procedure room and post procedure care.
2. Able to perform cannulation & blood drawing
3. To assist doctor during consultation or in any procedures / treatment
4. Answer any phone call enquiries regarding to pre & post procedure care.
5. Follow up with patients on any feedback / concerns that they may have
6. Interact and coordinate with different teams to ensure that the centre's operations is running smoothly and efficiently
7. Maintain the cleanliness and readiness of all nursing items.
8. Assist in collating patients' medical results and documents any patient assessment findings and progress
9. Provide administrative support to the department when required
10. Cover AHP radiology department when required
11. Any other adhoc duties as assigned by the Imaging/Wellness Manager

Requirements

1. Singapore registered nurse holding a post-registration qualification in operating theatre nursing
2. Operating theatre experience of not less than 6 months assisting the medical practitioner in the surgical procedure
3. Possess Singapore Nursing Board Practising Certificate
4. Possess ACLS/BCLS certifications
