Job Responsibilities:
1. Public and Media Relations Management
- Execute communications strategies in alignment with the organisation’s work and communications objectives
- Support and create media and communications materials that are engaging, relevant and timely
- Assist Heads of Department in proactive media monitoring to leverage or respond to social issues that are relevant to organisation’s cause
- Manage organsation’s social media platforms
2. Strategic Communications
- Support Executive Director to develop messaging and positioning strategies in alignment with organisation’s objectives to donors and external stakeholders
- Partner with departmental units and contribute to the development of functional communications plans across relevant projects/initiatives
- Design and write annual reports
- Draft and develop communication materials such as media responses, speeches, scripts, social media posts, advertorial, press releases, newsletter, letters and other writing assignments
- Manage the development of corporate collaterals
3. Marketing Communications
- Generate and execute marketing campaigns to promote projects, events and initiatives
- Support the planning and execution of events and activations
- Track outcomes against success metrics
4. Branding
- Act as brand custodian by ensuring consistency in messaging and alignment to brand identity
- Contribute to event planning, management and execution to ensure alignment with the association’s brand and carries positive messaging around key messages

Competencies:
· Proficient in written and oral communications in English (Proficiency in written communications in either Malay or Chinese will be a bonus)
· Proficient in social media management (including Facebook, website, Instagram, Tik Tok, Linkedin)
· Proficient in designing programmes, such as photoshop and canva
· Have organising, co-ordinating and administrative skills
· Have research and analytical skills
· Demonstrates critical thinking and creativity
Experience:
· At least 2 years’ work experience in marketing communications
Had contributed to organising fundraising events

Salary Range:
$3,600 - $4,300
