MISSION
The Admissions & Corporate Relations Manager is responsible for managing the school's admission process from inquiry to integration into the school.
Overseeing all admission events in collaboration with the Events department and working closely with the Marketing & Communication team to promote the school to attract new families, retain current families and form close working relationships with the school's current and potential Corporate partners.
The Admissions & Corporate Relations Manager manages a team of 5 members (executives and assistants) reporting directly to the Marketing Communications & Admissions Director.
Along with the Director of Admissions, the position establishes close working relationships with the Director of Finance, the Director of Parent Support Services, the Pedagogical Directors, Vice-Principals and the Head of School.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Admission and corporate relations strategy :
- Operationalise and implement strategic plans supporting the school's admissions objectives;
- Ensuring up-to-date, accurate data management of the “landscape” of the current student population and projected student numbers;
- Oversee the governance for admission exercise and processes and ensure the compliance with IFS standards and local environment;
- Oversee and guide the school's tours;
- Ensure smooth running of the Admissions processes and consistent service to prospective families;
- Develop personal rapport with prospective parents and students;
- In collaboration with the Marketing Communication Manager, oversee appropriate admissions campaigns and increase the school's intake;
- Act as a brand ambassador and present the school to prospective parents and students at internal and external events;
- Develop and implement an action plan for corporate relations, aiming to develop partnerships, donations, and higher IFS awareness and image among employees of these companies;
- Drive the collaboration and practical relationships between IFS's internal departments, Schools, feeder institutions and corporate partners.
2. Reporting and tools development :
- Implement and manage the parents/companies' CRM system to ensure a better customer experience, increase lead conversion rates and provide accurate student population data;
- Develop, monitor, and review resource management in collaboration with the department's Director to ensure optimal use of expertise, talent, and resources;
- Set up KPIs, producing regular qualitative and quantitative enrolment reports;
- Review the effectiveness of existing strategies to ensure the number of enrolments per intake meets the school's targets and objectives.
3. Team Management :
- Advise the department's Director on staff performance planning, review, appraisal and promotion exercises through developing, coaching, counselling, and motivating staff to enhance their work performance and contribution to the school.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
- Bachelor's degree, if possible, in the field of sales or customer relationships;
- At least six years of proven experience in sales or fundraising;
- Experience in education environments is an advantage;
- Effective communication skillset to engage with French and non-French families. Proficiency in French and English is a must;
- Excellent project management skills and the ability to manage multiple initiatives;
- Diplomatic influencing and relationship-building skills, to work with others and to convert initial enquiries into successful enrolments;
- Ability to maintain close and harmonious relations with work colleagues at all levels;
- Ability to demonstrate successful and effective customer relations, communication and customer care skills;
- A high level of attention to detail, particularly concerning population data and projections or similar data sets;
- Proficiency in office software and web tools (e.g. Microsoft Office, Google office suite, SalesForce or similar software).
WORK CONDITIONS
- Full-time 42h/week.
