Responsibilities include monitoring and maintaining all building systems, mission-critical facilities equipment, and other equipment in raised floor environments. This covers mechanical, electrical, emergency generators, fire/life safety systems, and associated equipment.
Key tasks:
- Performing regular assessments of building system operations.
- Conducting tests and rounds, analyzing data to ensure equipment is functioning properly.
- Performing preventive maintenance on all building equipment.
- Working within building management programs for mission-critical facilities.
- Ensuring the efficient operation of all building systems, and more.
Requirements:
- Journeyman-level experience in operating or engineering mission-critical facilities, with expertise in infrastructure such as UPS, HVAC, generators, and fire/life safety systems.
- Strong hands-on skills in either electrical or mechanical work, along with competence in the other area (e.g., electrical expertise with mechanical competence or vice versa).
- A high commitment to customer service for both colleagues and clients.
- Ability to respond professionally and effectively, both verbally and in writing, to complex inquiries, complaints, and sensitive issues.
