Job Position: Senior QC Executive

The role performs a key role in maintaining the compliance to internal and external standards/policies and regulatory procedures currently followed by the Fragrance Industry from new project development, marketing, distribution and post commercialization with respect to safety, quality and regulatory compliance.


Key duties and responsibilities

  • Lead a team of Quality team by coordinating and directing all aspects of laboratory development, staff training, testing, and ongoing operational support.
  • Maintaining quality policies and procedures of the company, monitoring their implementation and development periodically, and adhering to the laws and regulations in force.
  • To keep abreast of current legislation, guidelines and other regulatory matters, and important role as giving advice to the application, operation and commercial team on how best to interpret and meet the rules (such as GMP and Halal).
  • Proactively provide input when legislation change is being discussed and proposed in the industry, and prepare for implementation, support country regulatory & project team.
  • Introduce the fundamentals of manufacturing (blending, re-labelling and etc), storage, warehousing and distribution controls and their regulatory importance by provide regulatory training and audit.
  • Responsible for the calibration, maintenance, and repair of analytical test instrumentation and identifies, justifies, and procures new instrumentation when needed.
  • Develop and execute validation/qualification protocols for designated testing/site instrumentation. Participate in projects to ensure facilities, utilities, equipment, test methods, and computer systems are appropriately validated/qualified.
  • Managing and submitting regulatory information, document management to support customer’s new and renewal
  • All other duties as assigned.

Required Skills:

  • Min Diploma in related field. Fragrance experience will be highly advantageous.
  • Logical and efficient with strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills

Preferred Skills:

  • 3-5 years’ experience in total quality management in perfume, pharmaceutical or cosmetic industry.
  • Operational experience and strong affinity on laboratory system, analytical equipment and instruments
  • Ability to work both independently and / or within a team environment
  • Sensory Evaluation experience
