GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Our market access specialist team is responsible for our connectivity to the European, Swiss-Exchange (EUREX/SIX), numerous brokers and different international trading platforms. Supported by colleagues in Singapore and Zurich, you'll be responsible for order, trade routing, financial instruments handling, FIX order flow and execution management platform.
KEY FEATURES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
People Management
- Contribute to the strengthening of the team spirit and the fostering of a collaborative work environment across locations.
- Motivate and provide guidance/feedback to other team members to improve overall performance.
Business Management
- Work to fulfil the ambitions of the team defined by Head of Vendor Solutions/FIS and the Markets Operational Value Stream.
- Actively participate and support the head of the team to regularly review and improve team practices to optimise efficiency and productivity.
- Continuously drive and improve systems.
Stakeholder Management
- Effective and progressive management of all stakeholders and users of execution management platform and its associated systems.
- Solicit and discuss requirements and solutions with business owners and stakeholders.
- Provide regular updates to key stakeholders through the various channels used by the team.
Change Management
- Actively participate and support Program Increment (PI) planning process within Markets.
- Support change management and release rollout planning.
- Provide dedicated post implementation support locally in Asia.
Application Support & Development
- Provide best of class support to the business and user community of execution management platform and associated systems.
- Proactively manage issues raised and escalated to the team by providing timely resolution and feedback.
- Ensure systems are behaving in a stable state by performing general system checks and maintenance tasks.
- Perform technical as well as functional analysis on issues through a combination of system behaviour, log files and scripts.
- Contribute to the development of the execution management platform to improve the application’s functionality and stability.
- Plan, test and deploy code releases in accordance with bank standards and processes.

- Demonstration of appropriate values and behaviours including but not limited to standards on honesty and integrity, due care and diligence, fair dealing (treating customers fairly), management of conflicts of interest, competence and continuous development, adequate risk management, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations

Professional and Technical
- Relevant higher educational and professional background with more than 8 years of direct relevant experience in trading connectivity technologies and platforms.
- Working experience in a banking environment preferred.
- Good understanding of equity, fixed income, and exchange trade products.
- Sound knowledge of the messaging standards FIX
- Experienced on vendor-based execution management platforms.
