EOS Invoation Singapore Pte Ltd has a reIquirement for an experienced opto-mechanical engineer to join a dynamic R&D team as a Principal Opto-mechanical Engineer in the areas of developing advanced high power and high energy laser systems. The work is challenging, and applicants should be technically capable and experienced to work on the design and development of opto-mechanical technologies and assemblies. Applicants must possess appropriate qualifications, with extensive experience in the areas of developing opto-mechanical technologies and assemblies for precision instruments and different laser systems are essential.
Primary duties:
- Undertake the design of mechanical and/or opto-mechanical technologies and assemblies for high precision instruments, high power, and high laser systems.
- Undertake design and development of new assemblies and products.
- Undertake packaging and prototyping of different mechanical and/or opto-mechanical technologies and assemblies to meet the special requirements for different high power and high energy lasers, amplifiers, and optical assemblies.
- Undertake installation, alignment, testing, and rectification of prototype lasers, optical assemblies, and components.
- Provide necessary co-ordination and liaison to support the conduct of effective R&D for different projects.
- Preparation and maintenance of high standard documentation in respect of design and development work undertaken in accordance with various quality objectives and procedures.
