You will play a key role in supporting SingHealth’s efforts in Academic Medicine by managing the daily operations of the Clinical Skills & Simulation Department. This includes co-ordination with tissue banks, performing the preservation and storage of cadavers, planning of the disposal or cremation of used specimens.
You will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the lab, assist in planning and booking of facilities, managing and providing both logistical and technical support for clinical skills workshops. You will also play a crucial role in client relationship management by being involved in implementing new initiatives with industry and academic partners.
Job requirements
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Biomedical Science
- Relevant work experience in the healthcare industry or training environment will be an advantage but not a prerequisite
- Must be willing to handle and work with cadaveric parts
- Knowledge of anatomy will be an advantage
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral)
- Organisational and time management skills to follow through workshops to completion
- Physical ability to lift, move and set up lab equipment
- Required to work on some weekends to support workshops
