Overall Purpose of The Role
Our Account Management department is an integral part of We Are Social, the first level of Account & Client Management within our structure. We look to you to support your team in delivering our core service areas in Consultancy, Strategy and Engagement.
Your role is focused on the day-to-day delivery. Your team leaders will help you manage your tasks and priorities, although we do expect you to take responsibility here too. You need to conduct business effectively with attention to detail and accuracy in all communications, both internal and external.
We expect you to stay updated on industry trends and to regularly review a wide range of social media platforms in search of emerging trends and best practices. Your objective is to provide education not only to your team, but also to the broader team at We Are Social.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Liaison between key stakeholders both internally and externally.
- Monthly content planning and writing content briefs with the local team for our client’s social media channels.
- Community engagement and community management.
- Plan content calendar and schedule posts timely on native platforms and social media management tools provided.
- Track and analyse social media posts performance and write relevant monthly and quarterly reports on posts and channel health.
- Understand the overall client business objectives and develop strategies as needed.
- Assist the Account Director on the day-to-day delivery of output.
- Work with the wider team to ensure all content created is of the highest standards.
- Attend briefings/meetings both internally and with external stakeholders, and take responsibility for preparing minutes.
- Prepare and manage briefs and timelines as needed.
- Respond promptly to clients’ concerns, feedback and requests while ensuring regular updates on the statuses of each project/campaign.
- Be meticulous and organised in content reviews and job filings.
What are we looking for?
- Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in an agency
- Preferable knowledge of the Philippines as a market
- Ability to perform under stress to meet deadlines while still maintaining a high standard of output
- Understands basic agency processes while knowing the operational function of each department
- Attention to detail and organisation skills are a must
- Comfortable with writing, proofing and public speaking
