SUMMARY:
• To develop and promote Air and Ocean business growth on specific markets namely UK/Singapore/UK and Singapore/India/Singapore by formulating trade lane strategies.
• Maintain and enhance relationships with existing customers on aforementioned trade lanes.
• To develop a deep understanding of M+R and our partners’ business solutions.
• Formulate sales promotion strategies in collaboration with M+R Singapore and our partners’ management team at origin and/or destination.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Continuous growth of local and self-controlled customers in conjunction with our partner.
• Arrange direct visits to both existing and potential customers.
• Creation of qualified sales leads for our partners in the UK and India.
• Coordination and follow-up of all sales leads received from / sent to our partners in the UK & India.
• Maintain & enhance partner relationships.
• Establish and implement general SOPs in line with customer/s requirements.
• Organization and execution of schedules for overseas visits by our partners from the UK & India.
• Preparation and submission of all sales activities are to be entered in the M+R’s Pipeline system which is to be shared on a regular basis with our partners in the UK & India.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Assistance when required to chase payment from local customers.
• Use market and cultural knowledge to ensure smooth relations between all staff at M+R and our partners in the UK & India.
