Job Scope:
- Proper and full respect when handling deceased bodies, ensuring their safe and dignified transfer.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records of the deceased, including case numbers and personal information.
- Maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of the equipment.
- Adhere to strict safety and infection control protocols.
- Assist in identifying bodies and completing necessary documentation.
- Collaborate with a team of professionals, including pathologists, law enforcement personnel, and funeral directors.
- Complete paperwork/documents related to the deceased individuals and assigned daily tasks.
Requirements:
· Min 0 Levels or equivalent.
· Previous experience in the morgue or mortuary setting is preferred but NOT mandatory.
· Strong attention to detail and ability to work with sensitivity and discretion.
· Good communication and interpersonal skills.
· Basic knowledge of Safety and Infection Control Protocols.
· The ability to handle emotionally challenging situations with professionalism and empathy.
· Physically fit and the ability to lift and move deceased bodies when necessary.
· Adherence to all legal and ethical standards related to the job.
· Able to start work immediately or within short notice
Working Days/ Hours:
Monday – Sunday / Public Holidays
Shift: 9 am to 9 pm / 9 pm to 9 am (2 off days per week as roster)
